Volunteers at events like EUC2007 are really important and working as part of the support team is very rewarding. We need staff for the week to work hard, have some fun, and of course watch some great ultimate!
What do we need from you?
• Personal and friendly service for everyone attending the tournament
• Committment and professionalism throughout the week
• You must be at least 16 years of age
• Volunteers are needed in the following areas: scorekeeping and timing of games, information area, merchandise assistants, transport coordination, media work and staffing at social events
What skills are we looking for? (not all essential)
• A friendly smile!
• Reliability and accurate timekeeping
• Enthusiasm and initiative
• Speaking more than one language
• Driving licence
• General computer & handheld PC skills
• Video camera experience
• Newsletter reporting
• Ability to have lots of fun!
Of course we can't promise that the work at the tournament is always very easy, but volunteers will be given time off to relax and watch some games, visit the surrounding area or go to the parties.
Do you need to know anything about ultimate?
• Although it helps, it is not essential to know anything about the game; anything you need to know will be explained during training sessions.
